Vintage 1930s/40s copper rust coloured lightweight silk shirtwaister day dress. This is a real hourglass waist cincher, to accentuate your curves with a strap inside to cinch in the waistline.

I love this dress so much, and the only reason I'm letting it go is because I'm too short in the body for it & my boobs aren't big enough.

Please note the colour may differ on each computer monitor, because it's got a sheen the colour was tricky to capture precisely.

Waist: 24"
Bust: 40-42" best fit 36/38" as seen on 36" bust model
Across shoulders: 15.5"
From nape to waist: 16.5"
From waist to hem: 31"
Note: The belt pictured is missing in action, so the price is for the dress alone without the belt. If I find it at a later date I will post on free of charge.
It has a restraining belt underneath to take the strain and ensure a small waistline, without causing stress to the actual dress.

Condition: Unfortunately someone spilled some tea down the skirt when I had it at a fair, so this has left a subtle stain - please observe all detail pix, This almost disappears in the fold of the skirt so I had to stretch it out to illustrate. The moral - is never do a fair where they're serving consumables :( There are a couple of teeny pin pricks where I rubbed a bit too hard during the wash.
